Hiker lost since Thursday found alive near Woodside

Haury was dehydrated and tired but had only minor injuries from falling while hiking, Zuno said.

After days spent combing Woodside hiking trails and searching by air, search and rescue teams on Sat located a woman who disappeared while walking the person dog during a family vacation Thursday.

The woman, 56-year-old Bethnee Haury, stumbled into a ravine while hiking with that person dog, commented officials with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

A team of 230 rescuers from thirteen different agencies participated in the search, remarked Detective Salvador Zuno a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

She had made the person way into a ravine with about a 200-foot drop.
